For this year 2023, the brand has announced that it has extended its collaboration with the Joint Secretariat of the Wadden Sea until the end of 2025 and to present the Dat Watt Limited Edition II, an Aquis dive watch that supports the conservation of one of the world’s most vital ecosystems.A 43.5 mm Aquis DateThis watch features a unique green dial, whose color is inspired by the light reflecting off the salt marshes of the Wadden Sea, an area covering 11,500 km2 in northern Europe and stretching 500 km along the coast of Denmark, Germany and the Netherlands. The watch also features an unusual circular date display, powered by a Swiss-made automatic mechanical movement. It is water-resistant to 30 bars (300 meters) and comes with a stainless steel bracelet and an interchangeable rubber strap. Only 2,009 were made, marking the year in which the Wadden Sea was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.Engine sideThis Aquis is powered by Oris Caliber 743, which the brand developed from a Sellita SW220 base in order to implement the date complication specific to this watch.
