Tested in real ocean conditions during its design, it is capable of reaching a depth of 6,000 meters!Diving in very deep waterDuring the Five Deeps expedition in 2019, the Ultra Deep made history by descending to the deepest point on Earth, accompanying explorer Victor Vescovo at the controls of his submarine, on a mission to explore the bottom of the Mariana Trench. The depth reached was 10,928 meters, a record! After this dive, the watch that changed the game was adapted into a unique collection for the general public. Tested in real ocean conditions during its conception, the design is waterproof to a depth of 6,000 meters and complies with the ISO 6425:2018 saturation diving watch standard.A new steelThis model reference 215.30.46.21.04.001 has a case made of O-MEGASTEEL, a new high performance stainless steel alloy. This material is of great purity and has an even more brilliant polished appearance with a more intense white color. It also has a higher strength and hardness compared to conventional steel. The 45.5 mm case is topped by a polished blue ceramic bezel with a Liquidmetal diving scale. Its domed sapphire crystal tops a white lacquered dial with four blue Arabic numerals and 18K white gold hands and hour markers coated with white Super-LumiNova.The watch is equipped with a bracelet also made of O-MEGASTEEL with an extendable folding clasp. Its rack and pinion clasp allows for size adjustment and has an additional extension for diving. On the back of the titanium case is the laser-engraved Sonar emblem with the iconic seahorse of the Seamaster collection.A high precision caliberThe watches in the Ultra Deep collection are all powered by the Omega caliber 8912, a self-winding movement with Co-Axial escapement. Certified Master Chronometer and approved by the METAS, this watch offers a power reserve of 60 hours, a precision between 0 and +5 seconds per day as well as a resistance to magnetic fields up to 15 000 gauss.
