The early 2000s saw the arrival of several new models that are now considered modern classics. This is particularly true of the very first Seamaster Planet Ocean, unveiled in 2005. It, too, adopted many of the codes of the Seamaster 300, but was distinguished from the other models in the collection – and indeed from all the other watches in the world – by a signature feature: the Co-Axial escapement. With its inspired aesthetics, orange bezel and distinctive helium valve, it immediately became the model that diving enthusiasts loved. As its name suggests, the ocean is its natural environment, and that’s up to 600 meters below the surface!A really strong chronograph! This chronograph version has a 45.50 mm case in satin-finish stainless steel and features pushers fitted with satin-finish black ceramic rings.
