A name composed of a notion of time linked to a notion of space.De facto, the introduction of a GMT movement was an obvious move coupled with a real need for this very useful complication that world travelers love.A Franco-Swiss GMT movementAfter introducing two years ago the new G100 movement in partnership with the LA JOUX PERRET manufacture, the French watch brand introduces the GMT version of this ultra-precise movement, which has become a sure bet endowed with a comfortable 68-hour power reserve.A new textured dialThe new textured black dial, featuring the AM2 family’s signature baton hour markers, is encircled by the various 24-hour time zones. The green, perforated GMT hand complements the now classic March LA.B.The “glass box” sapphire crystal has been lowered to refine the overall polished-brushed timepiece, which we’ve assembled on a new 3-link bracelet perfectly integrated with the case.Introduction of a screw-down crownThe release of the AM2 GMT marks the gradual arrival of screw-down crowns in the MARCH LA.B. collections. Coupled with a double gasket system, this additional security guarantees water-resistance in all circumstances.The AM2’s 12.5 mm thick 39 mm case is radically streamlined. The sides are sharp and angular, and the crown, positioned at 4 o’clock, is deliberately integrated into a “recess” in the case middle. The lacquer-covered March LA.B M logo completes a round crown chiselled with the intertwined lines of March LA.B.The AM2 is equipped with an anti-reflective, virtually scratchproof sapphire crystal, slightly domed for an assured 70’s effect.An exceptional steel braceletAs with these watches, the brand’s bracelets are designed with the utmost attention to detail, the use of the finest materials and the assistance of the best craftsmen, to perfectly match the lugs of our watches.Very fluid when worn, the 3-link bracelet is equipped with a “jewelled” buckle that makes it thin from start to finish for optimum comfort and old-fashioned style. Like all the bracelets in the range, this one is interchangeable without tools, as equipped with the presto system.
